Stir-fry Carrots
Ingredients:
Carrots … 300 – 350g (8 – 10)
Onion … 2
Salt … 1 teaspoon
Tomato…2
Sugar … 2 teaspoon
Oil … 4 – 5 tablespoons
Water … ¼ cup
Method:
1. Peel carrots and cut off the two ends.
2. Roll cut the carrots.
3. Cut the onions into 1inch long strips.
4. Grind the tomato into paste
5. Heat oil to smoking point. Add carrots, salt, sugar, tomato paste
6. Stir quickly, and add ¼ cup of water. Cover with lid.
7. Stir once awhile until the carrots are cooked. Add a little more water if necessary.
8. Add in onions and stir.
9. Dish up and serve.
